Beth Rontal, LICSW
Founder Documentation WIzard
Beth Rontal, LICSW, is the founder of Documentation Wizard and a nationally recognized authority in clinical documentation for psychotherapists. For over 20 years, she has taught clinicians how to create documentation that is ethical, audit-ready, and reflective of high-quality care. With more than 25 years as a trauma therapist and 15 years as a clinical supervisor, Beth brings deep clinical insight and practical compliance expertise to her work.
Beth’s approach to documentation was shaped through her role in developing the first electronic documentation system at a community mental health clinic. That experience gave her firsthand insight into how thoughtful systems can reduce errors, improve efficiency, save clinicians time, and strengthen the connection between clinical care and the written record.
Known for turning documentation confusion into clarity and confidence, Beth teaches therapists how to streamline documentation, justify medical necessity, reduce audit anxiety, and prevent burnout through practical, immediately usable strategies. Her engaging, real-world approach transforms documentation from a dreaded task into a meaningful part of ethical and effective practice.
